Further info
The goal of Herts3Cycle is to recycle, refurbish, and redistribute bikes. This is achieved through:
- Donations. We work with Hertfordshire County Council's waste management team to collect unwanted bicycles from the local recycling centres. We also receive a limited number of donations from local residents
- Repairs. The donated bikes are then assessed and repaired by the amazing volunteers at Hertford Men Shed who fully qualified to complete a bike PDI check and service
- Collections. Once the bikes have been fully checked over, a member of Hertford Cycle Hub's team will be in contact with the individuals on the waiting list to let them know we have a bike ready for them
