New Leaf Recovery and Wellbeing College

We offer hope for the future despite life’s challenges, learning from other student’s experiences, and equipping students with the skills to make changes to support their well-being. The college is not somewhere to obtain qualifications but to learn self-management and personal development. Our free courses can help adults to learn how to take control of their mental health, and overcome challenges, such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger, and pressure. Students learn how to build resilience, self-esteem and self-compassion, self-care, coping strategies, and the skills to build a fulfilling life.

There are over 50 courses and workshops, all free for anyone 18+ living in Hertfordshire. If you do not live in Hertfordshire but you do pay Hertfordshire County Council Tax, or attend a Hertfordshire based GP, you can also register with us.

People can join at any time. There is no need for a professional referral, a diagnosis, and people do not need to be accessing other services. Anyone can join, whether they’re experiencing mental health challenges or they just want to learn to prevent poor mental health.
