FUTUREhope: Hertford & Ware
We are a small charity supporting young people aged 11-19 in Hertford and Ware. We provide one-to-one mentoring; sessions in schools covering issues like addiction and anger management. We also run a mobile youth centre on our converted minibus on Friday evenings and some weekdays after school. We alternate between Hartham Common, Hertford and Priory Street, Ware. We serve hot drinks/biscuits, have a games console and alcohol/drug information. Our team get into great conversations with young people that sometimes leads them into accessing our wider work.

We have a small team of employed qualified staff and rely heavily on volunteers (we are always looking for more by the way!) All our volunteers are trained by us and all our team are DBS checked.
