HCC: Hertfordshire Health Walks East Herts

All walks are FREE and vary in length, time and pace from First Steps (our shortest walk up to 30 minutes on flat terrain with plenty of resting points), to Grade 1 (30 mins) and all the way up to Grade 4 (90 mins). No booking is required. Just turn up 10 minutes before a walk or 15 minutes before your first walk to register as a new walker or you can register and pre-book online if you prefer.

One resident who has done 450 walks, describes Health Walks as “Marvellous, Reliable and Essential (for wellbeing and health)” so come and join us and see how it can help you.

Walk locations include Sele Farm, Bengeo, Hertford, Bishops Stortford, Ware, Wadesmill, Stansted Abbots, and Hartham Common with morning, afternoon and summer evening walks.

If you are unaccustomed to walking or returning to activity after injury or illness, why not try one of our First Steps (shorter walks)? These are available at Sele Farm (Thursday at 10am), Ware (Friday at 10am) Bengeo (Tuesdays 10.15am) and Bishops Stortford Herts and Essex Hospital (Wednesday at 12 noon).
