Step2Skills: Employment Support

Steps2Skills offers a range of employment support services, including the UK Government funded Connect to Work Supported Employment programme to help Hertfordshire residents into long-term work, education or training. Residents can have a diagnosed or undiagnosed disability or barrier(s) such as neurodiversity, mental health conditions, sensory needs or learning and physical disabilities into sustainable employment.

We offer: Personalised support from an employment advisor; Secure long-term work - you may access our support for a set period or without an upper limit; Relevant advice and support from our partner organisations based on your skillset and goals; Employers work with us to offer you interview practice, work tasters, job placements, and paid work; We're inclusive and support individuals facing barriers to secure sustainable work; our support is free! Who can use this service?

How are services delivered?

Hertfordshire residents who are 18+ years old, and are unemployed or economically inactive.

We've got Employment Advisors and Job Coaches who will support you on your journey with us. 

We also deliver community learning to Hertfordshire residents which can be accessed via our website http://www.step2skills.org.uk/courses
