Ware Charities: Financial Assistance Grants
The Ware Charities is a local organisation, long established in Ware, Thundridge and Wareside. Ware Charities Financial Grants are available to fund groups, individuals and families for: Education expenses (eg school trips, education equipment including IT, course fees etc), elderly support, advice services, sports and exercise, arts and music, social isolation and household goods.

Applications can not be made by an individual but by agencies and professionals who know the applicant personally and are qualified to assess their need. This includes a: support worker, social worker, case officer, health visitor, senior teacher or lecturer, minister of religion or local councillor.

Who can use this service?
Grants are available for people who live in the area of Ware Town Council, the Parish of Wareside and the Parish of Thundridge.
Applications are only accepted from agencies and professionals who know the applicant personally and are qualified to assess their need. For full details visit our Application Process.
How are services delivered?
Trustees meet first Wednesday of March, June, September and December to consider requests for support.
Urgent cases are considered between regular meetings. Payments are made direct to suppliers.
