Services for Young People: Hertfordshire County Council
Services for Young People is part of Hertfordshire County Council, providing targeted prevention and early intervention youth work projects and programmes, information, advice, guidance and work-related learning for 11 (year seven) to 17-year olds, up to 21 for care leavers and 24 for young people with learning disabilities (LD) and some other vulnerable groups.
We help young people with the issues which are important to them such as jobs, careers and education, relationships, sexual health, confidence, self-esteem, substance misuse, staying safe, housing and independent living skills. Visit our website for more information.
Who can use this service?
Our services are free for 11 (year seven) to 17-year olds, up to 21 for care leavers and 24 for young people with learning disabilities (LD) and some other vulnerable groups. All service users must live or go to school/college in Hertfordshire.
How are services delivered?
Our Personal Advisers and Youth Workers are professionally trained to provide the highest level of support and work closely with partners to provide counselling, mentoring and access to other services.
