Beacon: Victim Care Service - Catch-22
We provide confidential, emotional and practical support to victims and witnesses of crime in Hertfordshire. We help individuals navigate their way through the criminal justice system and we offer a restorative justice service. We also work with lots of other organisations who may be able to provide help and support. At Beacon, we believe that no victim should be left behind.

Our Support Workers use victim centred and restorative approaches by putting the individual’s needs first. This is completed by conducting a needs assessment which takes into account the impact and harm caused by the crime. This includes any physical, emotional, psychological or financial hardships caused. From the needs assessment, our Support Workers develop a package of support tailored to the individual’s needs.
