Hertford and District Foodbank
The Foodbank provides free emergency food and toiletries. As well as receiving food for a minimum of 3 days, users may be directed to further help and support if required.
Referrals are made by local referral agencies such as Citizens Advice , Children’s Centres , Social Workers, GP’s, Health Visitors, Housing Associations, Schools, Churches.
Who can use this service?
Anyone who is struggling to buy food for themselves or their family can be referred to a Foodbank.
How are services delivered?
Depending where the person lives, we either deliver the food or ask them to collect it from us at a given time.
