St Clare Hospice: The Echo Project
The Echo Project is for children, young people and families facing loss and bereavement. It is available to any child or young person under the age of 21, living in West Essex and East Hertfordshire, who is facing loss or who has been bereaved. We offer aged focus support groups including Echo Connect Creative Bereavement Group and Echo Connect Youth Group, as well as advice and training to parents, carers and schools.
The Echo Connect Creative Bereavement Group is for children and young people age 7 to 11 who are impacted by grief. This free creative cafe can help children and young people find ways to express themselves and their emotions through creative activities. The Echo Connect Youth Group is a safe and supportive space for young people aged 12 to 16 who have been bereaved to meet, relax and have fun while getting support to process the mix of emotions. After attending the cafe's, the support provided can be tailored to the individual and following an assessment, could include one-to-one support/therapy and family support.
If you think your child may require support, please get in touch with our Patient and Family Support team on 01279 773762. Further details on all of these services are available HERE
